States Where Cannabis is Legal

Each state has different rules for how much cannabis people can possess and in what capacity. Missouri and Maryland just voted to legalize recreational marijuana in Tuesday’s election, following a wave of recreational legalization across the United States.

As of November 2022, 21 states have now legalized marijuana for recreational use. Regardless of whether it is legal or not, marijuana still causes impairment. And, regardless of its legality, Otorize can detect impairment from any substance, such as alcohol, cannabis, and other substances.

Otorize is a 5-second impairment test which can be taken on any device at any time. It is important to realize that legalization leads to significant consequences and often to increased consumption across the state. The only way to ensure safety is to test for impairment and ensure that people are not driving under the influence. Check out the Otorize website to read more blog posts about the impacts and consequences of legalization.
